Executive overview
I lead Zyrom, a technology company I have been running since 2018 and registered as
Zyrom SMC (Private) Limited in 2023. Through Zyrom and its product brands, the work
covers custom software development, cloud-based subscription products, WhatsApp business
communication, NFC digital identity, and the automation projects that sit between them.
My background is unusual in one specific way: I came up through infrastructure as well as application
development. That means a project is not finished when the code compiles — it has to survive the
network it runs on, the printers and kiosks it talks to, the payment gateway that declines, and the
staff who have to use it on a Monday morning. Most of the value I add is in that last mile.

Products and systems I have built
These are the solution categories that appear most often in project work. They are described by
capability rather than by client name, because most engagements are confidential.
- Asset management systems — asset registers, QR and barcode identification, employee assignment, gate passes, check-in and check-out, purchase and vendor records, maintenance history, cost tracking and reporting.
- Queue and token management — token issuance, category and counter routing, live display screens, voice announcements, counter interfaces and local-network deployment.
- Self-service kiosks — touchscreen kiosk applications on mini PCs with receipt printers, display hardware, and QR or NFC flows.
- Education management — school, college and university workflows: student records, fees, attendance, LMS and administrative reporting.
- Warehouse management — stock movement, inventory visibility, receiving and dispatch, barcode support and operational reporting.
- WhatsApp automation — business messaging, template workflows, support inboxes, lead pipelines, chatbots and webhooks.
- Event and conference QR systems — guest QR invitations, email and WhatsApp communications, check-in and attendance workflows.
- Corporate and CMS websites — content-managed sites, lead capture, appointment and quotation workflows, and chatbot-assisted enquiries.
Industries I work with
Education, retail and commerce, corporate and professional services, warehousing and distribution,
events and conferences, and public-facing service operations such as queues and kiosks. Healthcare and
laboratory work is assessed case by case, because those projects carry regulatory requirements that
have to be scoped before any code is written.
How I work
- Understand the business — users, current workflows, pain points and the outcome being targeted.
- Define scope — features, roles, integrations, reports, constraints and acceptance criteria, in writing.
- Plan the solution — architecture, stack, hosting or local deployment, and implementation phases.
- Build iteratively — core modules first, demonstrated regularly, with practical feedback between them.
- Test and validate — workflows, permissions, data handling, integrations and usability.
- Deploy and hand over — production or on-site environment, orientation for staff, documented operations.
- Support and improve — agreed maintenance, updates, fixes and the next round of enhancements.
