This policy explains what happens to information you send through riswithali.com. It is written to be read, not to hide behind legal language. If anything here is unclear, ask and I will explain it.

What information is collected
- Project enquiries: the name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, budget range and message you submit through the contact form.
- Podcast guest applications: the details you submit in the guest application form, including links you provide.
- Direct messages: anything you send by email or WhatsApp, which is stored in those services until the conversation is no longer needed.
- Technical logs: standard web server records (IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp) generated when any website is loaded, used for security and error diagnosis.
No account is required to read this site, and no payment card details are collected on this website.
Cookies and analytics
The public pages of this site do not set advertising or profiling cookies, and no third-party advertising pixels are installed. A single preference value may be stored in your browser's local storage to remember whether you chose light or dark mode; it stays on your device.
Third-party services loaded by the page — Google Fonts for typography and a JavaScript CDN for interface behaviour — receive the standard request information (IP address, user agent, referring page) as part of serving those files.
If site analytics are enabled in future, this page will be updated to name the provider and describe what is measured before any tracking is switched on.
Why the information is used
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quotation or proposal.
- To deliver work you have engaged me for, and to provide support afterwards.
- To keep business records required for tax and accounting purposes.
- To protect the site against spam, abuse and technical faults.
Your details are not sold, rented or traded. Marketing emails are only sent to people who asked for them, and every message includes a way to stop receiving them.
Who else may see it
- Email and hosting providers that transmit and store messages and website files.
- WhatsApp / Meta if you choose to contact me there, under their own privacy terms.
- Professional advisers such as an accountant, where required by law.
Some of these providers process data outside Pakistan. Where that happens, transfers rely on the provider's standard contractual safeguards.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within 12 months. Project records, invoices and contracts are kept for as long as tax and company law requires. Server logs are rotated regularly and are not used for profiling.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where there is no legal obligation to keep it. Send the request from the same email address or WhatsApp number you used originally, and it will be actioned within 30 days.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, forms are validated server-side, and access to administrative areas is restricted and authenticated. No system is perfect: if you believe your data has been exposed, report it immediately using the contact details above.
Children
The site is intended for people aged 18 and over who are learning about or buying professional services. Information is not knowingly collected from children.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the "last updated" date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page rather than announced quietly.
