These terms cover design, development and consulting work carried out by Ali Raza Jatoi (trading as Rise With Ali, "I", "me") for a client ("you"). They apply unless a signed proposal states otherwise. Where a written proposal conflicts with this page, the proposal wins.
1. Quotes and scope
Every project begins with a written scope listing the pages, features, integrations and deliverables included, plus anything explicitly excluded. A quotation is valid for 30 days. Work that falls outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before it starts — no surprise invoices after delivery.
2. Payment
- Projects normally run on a staged schedule, typically 50% to begin and 50% before final handover, unless the proposal states otherwise.
- Larger or ongoing projects may be invoiced in three or more milestones.
- Payments are accepted by bank transfer, Raast, JazzCash or Easypaisa, and internationally by Payoneer or bank wire.
- Work may be paused if an invoice remains unpaid for more than 14 days.
3. Revisions and changes
Each stage includes the revision rounds listed in the proposal — normally two per design or build stage. Revisions are changes to work already delivered within the agreed scope. New features, new pages or a change of direction after approval are treated as additional work and quoted separately.
4. Client responsibilities
- Providing content, brand assets, product data and access credentials when requested.
- Nominating one decision-maker who can approve work at each stage.
- Responding to review requests within a reasonable time; timelines shift if feedback is delayed.
- Ensuring that any text, images or data you supply can legally be used on your website.
5. Intellectual property and ownership
On final payment you receive full ownership of the custom code, design files, database and content created specifically for your project, along with repository and hosting access. Third-party components keep their own licences — for example WordPress plugins, fonts, stock images or payment gateway SDKs — and those licences remain your responsibility to maintain.
Unless you ask otherwise, I may reference the completed project in my portfolio and case studies without disclosing confidential business data.
6. Third-party services
Hosting, domains, payment gateways, SMS and WhatsApp providers, and SaaS tools are billed by their own providers under their own terms. I will help configure them, but I do not control their uptime, pricing changes or approval decisions.
7. Warranty and support
Delivered work is covered by a 30-day bug-fix warranty: defects in the code I wrote are fixed at no charge. The warranty does not cover new feature requests, content edits, third-party service outages, or issues caused by changes made by you or another developer after handover. Ongoing maintenance can be arranged separately.
8. Limitation of liability
I aim for high availability and search performance, but no one can guarantee specific rankings, traffic volumes or revenue outcomes. Liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the specific project concerned. I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profit or lost data, where backups were the client's responsibility.
9. Cancellation
Either party may end a project in writing. Work completed up to the cancellation date is invoiced and payable, and any unused advance is refunded within 14 days, less third-party costs already incurred (domains, licences, paid plugins).
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Punjab.
